AUTUMN SPECIALS ON KATSE DAM
The month of May is the start of the breeding season for the white breasted cormorant on bird island on Katse dam. With other fresh water feeding birds also resident on bird island, the boat trip to bird island presents an exceptionally thrilling experience.

Summer has come and we have enjoyed the warmth, we saw the rains with streams and min falls flowing down the eye-catching, sometimes-misty mountain side, the green pastures with the breath-takingly beautiful highlands flowers along with the birdlife they attract.
And the summer rains arrive!
(be ready to experience snow this winter!) After a year of severe drought, the rains finally arrived late in December into January and beyond. The landscape has now changed beyond imagination and simply refreshing!
